I learned something this morning. Don't go and write something, that potentially the entire world can see, without wearing your glasses and after 14+ hours of work. NOT A PRETTY SIGHT! Thank God for editing!

I don't know what that was, and I'm not gonna ask! Must've been good, 'tho. I learned a valuable lesson about emails this year. While "replying to all", I mentioned that a certain person was slow to respond, if she ever did. Well, I didn't check the cc list on the original email. Wouldn't you know, her name was on it. My boss's boss called my boss on vacation to ask him what he was going to do about it. He forwarded it to me with a curt note telling me to watch it in the future. Embarrassed all to heck, I immediately wrote an apology note to her, offering an olive branch of lunch at her favorite place, and copied my boss and his boss. That seemed to placate everyone, but it sure left an indelible impression on me and my email etiquette! I guess the same applies to a blog... be careful what you write. It CAN be used against you in court!
I've been married to Gary (my one time boss) since 1985. I'm the mom of Sean (we had him for 18 years - God is playing football with him now). Monica and Aaron are our kids by proxy, and they have blessed us with a beautiful granddaughter, Leah. We have also "adopted" many members of the St. Charles Class of 2004. We have a house rabbit named Gizmo and a box turtle name Lucky. I'm the Respiratory Manager for a Respiratory Services Department at an orthopedic hospital northeast of Columbus. I enjoy my volunteer jobs for SC Football, Capital Area Humane Society and Catholic Youth Summer Camp.
